Our story

Fifteen years of Central Coast buildings

Erik Halvorsen started the company in 2009 after a decade running commercial jobs for a larger regional builder. The idea was simple: keep the crew small, keep the standards high, and stay close enough to every project to catch problems before they cost anyone money.

Today we handle tenant improvements, retail and restaurant buildouts, small ground-up commercial, and structural retrofits across San Benito, Santa Clara, Monterey, and Santa Cruz counties — plus a handful of residential remodels and ADUs each year. Most of our work comes from repeat clients and the property managers, architects, and owners who’ve worked with us before.

We’re based out of a shared office at 351 Tres Pinos Rd, Suite C-7 in Hollister, but you’ll mostly find us on a job site. That’s the point.

Line-item estimates and disciplined change control. You know what a change costs before we swing a hammer, not at closeout.

We keep you open

Most of our commercial work happens around operating tenants. Phasing, dust control, and off-hours scheduling are the norm, not an upcharge surprise.

We finish the punch list

A project isn’t done when it’s mostly done. We close out every item, hand over clean documentation, and stand behind the work.
